Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Technical Services department and provide strategic leadership to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of implementing effective IT solutions and processes. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including Systems Administrators and Help Desk Support Specialists, to deliver high-quality technical support and services.

• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our IT infrastructure.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop IT solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.

• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of hardware, software, and networking systems to meet business needs and customer expectations.

• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

• Monitor IT performance metrics and KPIs to track service levels, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of IT processes and systems.

• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards to recommend innovative solutions and drive digital transformation initiatives.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the IT department and across the organization.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, managing IT teams and overseeing IT operations.

• Strong technical proficiency in systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are desirable.
